Google API Data Policy

Yuruka uses Google APIs to enable users to connect their Google Calendar and schedule recruitment activities such as interviews, meetings, and hiring events.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling Google user data responsibly in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

When you authorize Yuruka with your Google account, we may access the following Google Calendar information:

• Calendar list
• Calendar events created or managed by you
• Event details required to schedule interviews
• Availability information necessary to prevent scheduling conflicts

We only request the minimum permissions required for these functions.

Google Calendar data is used solely to:

• Create interview events.
• Update interview schedules.
• Cancel interview events when requested.
• Invite interview participants.
• Check calendar availability to avoid scheduling conflicts.
• Display scheduled interviews within the Yuruka platform.

We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or unrelated business purposes.

Yuruka does not sell, rent, or trade Google user data.

Google Calendar information is only shared:

• With interview participants through calendar invitations.
• With service providers necessary to deliver the scheduling functionality.
• When required by applicable law.

Calendar information may be temporarily stored to synchronize interview schedules and improve reliability.

We retain only the information necessary to provide scheduling functionality.

Users may disconnect their Google account at any time, after which future synchronization will stop.

Yuruka’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features.
• Google user data is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• Google user data is not used for advertising purposes.
• Google user data is not sold to third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encrypted storage where applicable
• Secure authentication using OAuth 2.0
• Role-based access controls
• Continuous monitoring and logging

Only authorized systems and personnel may access Google user data when required to provide the requested services.

Users may:

• Disconnect their Google account at any time.
• Revoke Yuruka’s Google access through their Google Account settings.
• Request deletion of synchronized Google Calendar data by contacting us.

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or applicable laws.
