Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your access to and use of Yuruka, a product owned and operated by Controlshift Talent Private Limited (“Controlshift”, “Yuruka”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

This Policy forms an integral part of the Yuruka Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account and other legal remedies.

2. Purpose

Yuruka is an AI-powered recruitment platform intended solely for legitimate hiring, recruitment, workforce management, and related business purposes.

Users must use the Services responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Lawful Use

You agree to use Yuruka only for lawful purposes.

You shall not use the Services to violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, employment regulation, privacy law, or contractual obligation.

4. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Yuruka to:

  • Commit fraud.
  • Facilitate identity theft.
  • Misrepresent your identity.
  • Impersonate another individual or organization.
  • Submit false employment information.
  • Upload forged documents.
  • Conduct phishing activities.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Engage in unlawful surveillance.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any account or system.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services.
  • Circumvent security measures.
  • Test or probe vulnerabilities without written authorization.
  • Intercept communications unlawfully.
  • Use the platform for illegal recruitment activities.
  • Engage in deceptive hiring practices.

5. Recruitment Practices

Customers must use Yuruka responsibly throughout the recruitment process.

Customers shall not:

  • Conduct unlawful or fraudulent recruitment.
  • Misrepresent employment opportunities.
  • Use fake job postings.
  • Collect candidate information for unauthorized purposes.
  • Use candidate information outside legitimate recruitment activities.
  • Require unlawful payments from candidates.
  • Violate employment laws.
  • Violate anti-discrimination laws.
  • Engage in exploitative hiring practices.

Customers remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws.

6. Candidate Information

Users shall not:

  • Upload candidate information without appropriate authority.
  • Share candidate information without authorization.
  • Sell candidate information obtained through Yuruka.
  • Harvest candidate data.
  • Build unauthorized databases using candidate information.
  • Use candidate information for unsolicited marketing unrelated to recruitment.

7. Lead Bank & AI Sourcing

The Lead Bank and AI sourcing features may only be used for legitimate recruitment activities.

Users shall not:

  • Mass scrape or extract Lead Bank data.
  • Build competing databases.
  • Resell candidate information.
  • Share Lead Bank data with unauthorized third parties.
  • Use automated tools to harvest candidate information.
  • Circumvent usage limits.

Any unauthorized extraction or commercial use of Lead Bank data is strictly prohibited.

8. Artificial Intelligence

Users shall not use Yuruka’s AI features to:

  • Generate unlawful content.
  • Create discriminatory hiring processes.
  • Produce misleading or fraudulent recruitment materials.
  • Generate abusive or harassing communications.
  • Circumvent applicable employment laws.
  • Make fully automated hiring decisions where prohibited by law.

AI-generated outputs should always be reviewed by qualified personnel before making employment decisions.

9. Interviews & Assessments

Customers and candidates shall not:

  • Cheat during assessments.
  • Use unauthorized assistance during coding or MCQ assessments where prohibited.
  • Attempt to manipulate AI interview outcomes.
  • Upload malicious files during assessments.
  • Interfere with interview recordings.
  • Misrepresent identity during interviews.

10. Telephony Services

Customers using calling features must comply with all applicable telecommunications and privacy laws.

Customers shall not:

  • Make unlawful or unsolicited calls.
  • Engage in robocalling where prohibited.
  • Harass recipients.
  • Record calls without complying with applicable consent requirements.
  • Use Yuruka for emergency services.
  • Use Yuruka for illegal telemarketing.

Customers are solely responsible for obtaining any legally required notices or consents before recording calls.

11. Intellectual Property

Users shall not:

  • Copy Yuruka software.
  • Reverse engineer the platform.
  • Decompile or disassemble software.
  • Copy AI models.
  • Reproduce source code.
  • Remove copyright notices.
  • Copy documentation for commercial purposes.
  • Use Yuruka branding without authorization.
  • Register confusingly similar trademarks or domain names.

12. Platform Security

Users shall not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access.
  • Share login credentials.
  • Bypass authentication.
  • Disable security controls.
  • Introduce malicious software.
  • Launch denial-of-service attacks.
  • Interfere with platform performance.
  • Access another customer’s data.

13. API Usage

Where APIs are provided, users shall not:

  • Exceed documented rate limits.
  • Share API credentials.
  • Use APIs for unauthorized purposes.
  • Reverse engineer APIs.
  • Circumvent authentication mechanisms.
  • Build competing services using Yuruka APIs.
  • Abuse API resources.

14. Data Protection

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that their use of Yuruka complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Customers shall:

  • Obtain legally required consents.
  • Provide required privacy notices.
  • Respond to data subject requests where applicable.
  • Protect login credentials.
  • Configure access permissions appropriately.

15. Fraud Prevention

Yuruka may investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity.

Where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred, we may:

  • Suspend accounts.
  • Restrict Services.
  • Freeze Credits.
  • Remove content.
  • Preserve evidence.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
  • Terminate accounts.

16. Monitoring & Enforcement

To protect the security and integrity of the Services, Yuruka may monitor platform activity, investigate suspected violations, and take appropriate action.

Nothing in this Policy obligates Yuruka to monitor every activity or communication.

17. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of Yuruka, please notify us promptly.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
